K A T I E   Y O U N G

I've been a union member since 2013 and in that time have become increasingly passionate about the role our union plays in the lives of members.  The convention is our chance to impact union policy as rank and file members. 

I have the knowledge and experience to champion policy that serves our members.

As a stage manager, I have worked on Production, SETA, Off-Broadway, LORT, LOA to LORT and Off-Broadway, and Transition Agreements as well as the New York City Showcase Code and Stage Reading Guidelines. 

I serve on the Stage Manager and Members' Education Committees. My hands-on involvement in the union has given me an inside perspective to our strengths and weaknesses.

I love our union. But there is a lot of work we can do to make it more equitable, more effective, and more communicative.
